This photograph was taken in the summer of 1999 when 57 was stored in the open near to Chichester by-pass. It is clear from this shot that some of the bodywork had been attacked by the elements. The vehicle is now in secure undercover accommodation and since then considerable progress has been made. On 14 January 2006, the Provincial Society took on the responsibility of restoring and maintaining the unique bus for future generations to enjoy.
