Guy Arab 55 seen in West Street Fareham on the special service around Fareham run as part of the Exhibition held at Westbury Manor Museum Fareham in Sept 2004 to commemorate Provincial’s past (Photo Malcolm Audsley) On the Evening preceding the start of the exhibition, a special trip was run around the proposed route for dignitaries including the Mayor of Fareham and members of the Provincial Society. 55 is seen here in Highlands Road Fareham (Photo Darren Marshall) Signwriter John Crouch puts the finishing touches to an historic trademark on David Whitakers AEC Regal No 24 (CG 9607). Photo David Whitaker This photograph was taken in the summer of 1999 when 57 was stored in the open near to Chichester by-pass. It is clear from this shot that some of the bodywork had been attacked by the elements. The vehicle is now in secure undercover accommodation and since then considerable progress has been made. On 14 January 2006, the Provincial Society took on the responsibility of restoring and maintaining the unique bus for future generations to enjoy.
